We are looking for our automotive business in China for an experienced

Sales Manager
(Wuqing, Tianjin)

The Sales Manager will lead a team of 4-5 people and will be focused on driving revenue growth for all (international and local) automotive customer in China (later in Asia)

Key Responsibilities/JD:

  • Develop and implement a 3 year strategic plan for the automotive market
  • Set vision and communicate strategy for the sales team, develop specific segment plans expand market penetration of Mueller product range
  • Develop and implement annual budget and regular forecast for all accounts, establish targets (such as product mix, sales volume, market share and business development)
  • Develop individual account strategies (action plan, opportunities); identify cross-functional key account support team
  • Hold regular sales review meetings with management team, global account managers and project team; accompany sales team to customer visits
  • Lead/supervise negotiation with customer. Handle important key accounts personally.
  • Prepares accurate and thorough sales activity reports
  • Gather industry trend and customer roadmap in order to understand market signals and translate into business actions
  • Provide constant inputs to product team in Germany in order to develop new market segments and bring new generation of innovative products into the market
  • Effectively communicate with the management team in China and Germany to promote the business needs of your customers
  • Ensures that Account Receivables (AR) are timely tracked and resolved with customer.

Key Requirements:

  • University degree above in international trade/business management
  • More than 5 years managing experience in sales and/or marketing in international companies
  • Proven people management, team development and leadership skills
  • Strong connection in automotive industry (OEM’s, Tier 1), experience in car interior/seat would be a plus
  • Willing to travel regularly
  • Problem-solving and aptitude to determine ideal solutions for customers
  • Must be result orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Demonstrated effectiveness within cross-functional and cross-regional project / program management teams
  • Good spoken and written English skills are essential
  • Proficiency in MS office (in particular Excel)
  • Experienced in ERP systems
