About this job:

Sales in China has increased exponentially over the past few years, and the market is developing well with space for further growth. With your contributions and efforts, you will have the chance to lead the company sales to results that are even more impressive. With your passion and energy, you will lead the sales team and develop their skills and knowledge. Sales comes naturally to you, and you have a good business sense and can see connections affecting performance of products in the market. You have lived in China long enough to understand the culture and language, as well as the market and behavior of the Chinese consumers.  At this point in your career you are ready to take broader responsibility and grow together with the company.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for all commercial aspects of the China sales activities including revenue growth, margin improvement, sales team management and customer relationships
  • Maintain personal contacts with major customers/key accounts
  • Work together with retailers and give sales training to staff to ensure that the brand is promoted in a favorable way
  • Develop and implement long-term sales strategies focusing on developing greater market share and profitability
  • Develop and execute appropriate business plans/ product plans to identify trends, opportunities for marketplace advantage, and feedback new ideas for products
  • Apply business intelligence and analysis to improve sales performance
  • Hunt new opportunities and generate sales with new customers that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Lead and inspire the sales team to reach goals and develop competence
Requirement:
  • Bachelor degree or above, Business Degree will be preferred
  • 10+ years working experience in international consumer goods companies and other similar industries
  • Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, German is a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong background in sales and account management, skilled in managing relationships with key accounts
  • Solid experience within retail, working towards customers running retail stores
  • Have worked with sales forecast and stock planning/management
  • Exposure to frequent new product launch, planning and execution
  • Team player, service-oriented, and have good communication and negotiation skills
  • Work well with autonomy and under pressure, like to face new challenges
  • Able to handle responsibility independently
  • Hands-on and practical, strong energy and passion
  • Fit in well in an international and flat organization with open communication
  • Motivated to build up a good team to meet with market growth
  • Available to travel extensively
  • Enthusiastic about sporting goods
