About this job:

For our subsidiary in Hong Kong we are looking for a

Sales Director Asia (m/f)

In this position you are accountable for sales in Asia and reporting directly to the Managing Director of Wendler Hong Kong.

Your key tasks

  • Ensure continuous growth of sales and achieve defined profit margin
  • Further develop our sales strategy
  • Plan, direct and coordinate sales activities in line with the sales strategy
  • Lead and support sales teams, sales partners and distributors including target settings
  • Care for key customers and important decision makers
  • Maintain and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Advance our product portfolio in coordination with the relevant positions inside the company
  • Coach of sales staff
  • Monitor and analyze markets, competitors and trends
  • Plan and review annual sales budget and initiate corrective actions
  • Report sales figures to top management
  • Networking inside and outside the company

 

Your profile

  • BA or BS degree in sales (Apparel or Industrial) or related
  • Minimum 10 years experience in international sales of B2B products, preferably in textile/garment sector
  • Existing network in the international textile/garment sector
  • Technical knowledge in the field of textile/garments is an advantage
  • English on excellent negotiation level, additional knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Action orientation, strong sense of urgency to meet/exceed goals
  • Authentic and credible personality with proven leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and conceptual competences
  • Proven team builder, who runs successful teams which meet/exceed expectations based on strong moral and positive spirit
  • Presentation skills
  • Natural sales competence

Requirement:
