About this job:

Your Responsibilities:

Develop medium and long-term product strategies for future vehicle projects

  • Develop competitive and customer oriented product specifications for future Skoda Brand products for top management decision-making
  • Define product equipment and technical feature requirements from a marketing point of view, as well as market positioning, vehicle USPs, sales mix and pricing forecast proposals, and product lifecycle roll-out roadmaps
  • Support improvement measures optimizing profitability, balancing market orientation and financial optimization in cooperation with Product Management, Finance, TE


Regularly analyze regulations, market, competitors and target customer demands

  • Monitor and analyze legislations (e.g. CO2), competitors and customer trends, define and implement measures to ensure competitiveness of assigned Skoda products
  • Steer content and timing of future product related market studies with market research team. Analyze study results, implement learnings with project teams


Propose product positioning and pricing strategies based on segment analysis

  • Analyze, develop and propose a detailed market-, competitor- and target customer derived pricing strategy for assigned future vehicle projects. Update regularly.
  • Align with JV and HQ counterparts, prepare comments and management recommendations for approval


Propose sales volume potentials based on market segment analysis

  • Analyze, develop and propose future product project, sales volume and mix forecasts, identify opportunities to optimize sales potential, align with project stakeholders


Act as Product Marketing bridge and interface with Skoda World Headquarters and SAIC-Skoda JV to ensure all parties are aligned on designed project strategy

Represent Product Marketing in cross-functional vehicle development teams

  • Ensure timely, complete input to project teams, and top management committees


(Co-) Develop presentations for decision committees, workshops, project teams

  • Clearly lay out rationale, plausibility of defined and aligned product project strategies, detail definitions, volume and pricing forecasts to achieve top management approval.
  • Strong strategic, analytical thinking and MS office skills. High affinity for data analysis
  • Fluent English and German language skills essential. Strong communication skill
