About this job:
  • Objective of the Product manager Aluform is to launch Aluminium bolts into the Chinese Automotive market
  • The Product manager Aluform will win new customers, look after existing customers, and build the relevant relationships.
  • The Product manager Aluform is the personal contact for the customer.
  • He advises and negotiates contracts with the customer as well as gathering the following information with the interests and needs of the customers:
    • Market
    • Marketing
    • R&D
    • Logistics
  • Main interface/liaison between our customers and RIBE Shanghai and the RIBE HQ
  • Interfaces include:
    • Sales
    • Engineering/technical
    • Logistics
    • Marketing
    • Senior Management/High level relationships
  • The Product manager Aluform will support their major customers in the following entrepreneurial manner:
    • Participating in the development of new products and services
    • Improving existing products and customer services
    • Joint development of new business
    • Optimization of business processes
    • Strategy & Future planning
Requirement:
  • Ability to communicate both written and orally with customers, suppliers, and co-workers
  • Chinese (native speaker) and English proficiency preferred
  • Positive attitude and the desire to work with our customers proactively
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and frequently in a high stress environment
  • Enthusiasm for participating in a smaller company (must be a team player), team oriented business under guidance of

 

Education and Experience:

Bachelor Degree or Master degree in Engineering and/or Business

 

Preferred Requirements:

A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in the automotive industry in project/program management, sales and/or engineering understanding manufacturing, equipment, tools, design and key customer management.

The position requires the willingness and ability for domestic and international travel.

  • Years’ working experience in a similar role
  • Product management experience
  • Automotive supplier experience is preferred
  • A good knowledge of the Global and Chinese Automotive industry with its specialties in the area of NEV
  • Understanding of the Customers’ needs for weight reduction and the technical requirements of Steel- vs. Alu-bolts in the application
  • Has good relations with the potential target customers (TIER I and OEM)
  • Has the relevant language and communication skills to successfully liaise with Sales and R&D departments in HQ
  • Logical thinking, good analysis skill
  • Strong communication skill
