About this job:

As a Senior Project Manager in Hong Kong, you will act as the interface with, and extension of our Product Design & Procurement team at our headquarters in Germany. In close coordination with your local colleague and the German team, you will independently manage new product development and organize production with existing and new production partners. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing new customers in the Asia Pacific region. Having a high understanding of quality, good negotiation skills, and project management experience is very beneficial in this role.

You should enjoy working in an international team – and the fact that your colleagues are not on site should not be a problem.

  • Bachelor or proven degree in industrial design or process engineering with commercial understanding, or business administration with technical/ design background
  • Experience in quality assurance and supplier management
  • A broad experience in project management and independent project execution
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, cost awareness, customer and solution-oriented thinking and a high degree of self-organization
  • Willingness to travel with a focus on the Asia Pacific region
  • Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)and English written and spoken, knowledge of German is an advantage
