About this job:

Melchers China is seeking to hire an Exucutive Assistant to the CEO.  We are looking for a young professional with a strong analytical mindset to support to further developing and managing the company’s strategic direction. This position directly reports to the CEO in Shanghai.


  • Strategy and busienss development (current and new business)
    • support on business strategy development (company / departmental )
    • perform market / industry reviews and studies for internal use
    • perform feasibility studies of business concepts
    • develop (and execute) business plans
  • Senior managment support
    • set up, coordinate and task follow-up on senior management meetings (e.g. Board meetings)
    • manage highly prioritized special projects as needed
  • Communication
    • establish / maintain external communication tools (e.g.website, catalogues, social media)
  • Ad hoc projects / tasks
  • 2+ years of work-experience in a consultancy, auditing company or similar analytical role
  • Bsc/BA in business administration or relevant field; Msc/MA will be preferred
  • Experience in developing and executing business plans
  • Strong problem solving and creative resourcefulness
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (both written and spoken)
  • Advanced experience with MS Office (esp. Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and with high motivation and energy
