Zhuhai Business Service is responsible for identifying and supporting investment and trade opportunities of European companies planning a market entry in China. They also support Chinese enterprises by opening doors to cooperation with European firms.

About this job:

Zhuhai Business Service is looking for a Director of Business Development / Business Director to build reliable relationships with potential clients for investment and trade. Target contacts are not only enterprises but also institutions, associations and Research institutes in different countries in Europe.

Key Tasks:

  • Identifying and qualifying business opportunities related to potential investment or trade projects
  • Implementing strategic objectives for marketing the region of Zhuhai in Europe
  • Developing communication concepts addressing potential investors
  • Building and maintaining contacts to European business associations
  • Upholding a high level of regular, frequent, accurate and timely communication to all related team members
  • Generating leads and referring business by analysing current business, denied business and identifying potential new business
  • Following-up with targets and clients to determine satisfaction; measuring results and supporting strategies to improve the quality of the consulting service
  • Securing client meetings
  • Obtaining requests for proposals
  • Assisting in proposal development and facilitating presentations
  • Securing contract awards based on above efforts and sales targets
  • Providing project team support as appropriate
Requirement:

Personal Characteristics:

  • Goal orientation with a keen desire to build and leverage relationships
  • Experience in consulting companies
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal)
  • Presentation skills with the flexibility to deal with all presentation scenarios
  • Excellent personal relationship skills honed through experience of dealing at senior levels
  • Experience in working in international team preferred
  • Very good written and spoken English, at least one other European language, interest in Chinese language and culture
