About our client

Our client is a leading Europe-based engineering company which offers state-of-the-art mechanical process technology and equipment. To further strengthen its strongly growing activities in China, our client is searching for a highly-qualified and experienced “Quality Manager” for immediate assignment. The position is located in Langfang.

 

Job Description

The “Quality Manger” will be in charge of the management of Quality Department and all quality management relevant tasks, including quality management of suppliers, customers, and internal compliance, establishment and maintenance of quality management system, collection and analysis of quality data, especially quality cost. He/ she will report directly to COO China.

Role and Responsibility

  • Development, improvement, and implementation of quality policy and standards
  • Development of quality management system and certification, quality management organization structure, quality management targets
  • Optimization of working process according to standards and needs of quality and production management together with technology and production department
  • Establishment of complete quality inspection and control system, including IQC, IPQC, FQC, and OQC
  • Quality management of suppliers, incl. routine or special evaluation, audit, and quality management of the supplied goods
  • Quick response to quality issues during production, installation, and after-sales usage and provide in-time solutions, incl. investigation of issues, analysis of reasons, and providing preventive measures
  • Monitoring implementation of risk control through production process
  • Collection, analysis, and tracking of production quality data, especially reducing quality cost through effective measures
  • Implementation of lean manufacturing, incl. supporting improvement of lean manufacturing, identifying improvement opportunities, strengthening 5S working environment
  • Implementation of safety policy and safety management system
Requirement:

The successful applicant

  • Education:
    • University degree in machinery or related fields
    • Additional technical education qualifications are highly beneficial
  • Age: 30+ years old
  • More than 10 years work experience in quality management position in machinery industry
  • Strong understanding of process methodologies and tools of quality management
  • Experience in ISO9001
  • Proactive, good at learning and communication
  • Excellence in reading and writing English
  • Excellence in office software
