Key Account Manager (m/f)

Location: Tianjin

We are looking for a skilled Key Account Manager to oversee the relationships of the company with some of its most strategic clients. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements.

The ideal candidate will be building strong relationships with all relevant departments of the customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.

The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

Duties of the Key Account Manager include:

  • You will focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.
  • You will write business plans for all current and opportunity tender business.
  • You will act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.
  • You will align with the Key Account Departments in Germany about latest developments and opportunities with your customers
  • You will help roll out global contracts in China
  • You will work closely with the existing sales force and the sales manager
  • Previous experience in Account Management or Territory Sales and display an attitude that is key to success.
  • Strong account management and relationship building skills.
  • Experience of managing major national accounts at head office or central purchase level.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Studies or apprenticeship in business economics with additional technical background or technical studies with additional financial background
  • Profound experience in technical sales  - ideally in the tool industry
  • Sales experience with international business groups (i.e. Automotive Industry, Mechanical Engineering, …)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge about the different eBusiness solutions (like eCatalogue, EDI, OCI, etc.)
  • Fluent in English language
Native Language: Chinese
Working Experience: 3-5 years
