For its production site in Tianjin our client is currently looking for an internationally experienced and skillful

Human Resources Manager (m/f)

Taking responsibility for the whole spectrum of the operational and strategic HR management and development in China after consulting with the general manager (GM) of Handtmann Light Metal Foundry (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. and the HR management in Germany

Your main tasks:

• Leading and managing the HR and Administration team in Tianjin

• Formulating of Handtmann’s HR policies in accordance with Chinese labour laws and regulations (including the Employee Manual)

• Initiating, realising and permanent development of an HR concept for:

1) HR recruiting: strategy, securing quality and quantity of candidates and timely processes

2) HR development: on-the-job trainings- and training programs for the technical as well as the commercial field, cooperation with internal and external partners, establishing and implementing of a vocational training concept

3) Payroll and working time: Constitution of a long term compensations and benefit system, development of working time models, safekeeping of a functional and system-based payroll (time and money)

4) Social activities: Ensuring of personnel catering, accommodation, organization of company identification measures, organization of overseas vocational training (German employees for work in China and Chinese employees for training to Germany), support of German employees during their activities in China

5) Administration: controlling and ensuring of general administration, respectively data, processing, meetings and general desk work, incoming and outgoing mails, exchange of information to internal and external authorities, visitors administration, phone call management

• Implementation of long term retention measures, respectively HR marketing measures

• Establishment of contacts (networking with institutions and agencies)

• Facilitation of the Handtmann culture in China

• Contact person for all employees in HR questions

• Build up of a communications system with the mother company

Requirement:

• University degree in Business Administration or matching education in the field of HR
• Experience within a manufacturing company in China
• At least ten years of work experience in the field of HR
• Strong leadership skills, dynamic personality, excellent organizational skills, flexibility
• Distinct intercultural management expertise, international mobility
• High social competence, excellent communication skills, confident appearance
• Bargaining strengths, high problem solving skills, operational readiness and strength of implementation
• Confident knowledge of local Chinese labour law terms
• IT-knowledge: SAP, MS-Office
• Languages: Chinese (mother tongue), English, desirable: German

Native Language: Chinese
Working Experience: above 10 years
