About this job:

Tasks:

  • plan and oversee the financial management of the Hong Kong Office in coordination with the Office Director
  • administration of financial accounts, book-keeping
  • plan and oversee project budget and monitor the budget spending
  • responsibilities in support of project administration

Requirement:
  • proven fluency in English, Cantonese is a plus, as are basic German and Mandarin language skills
  • interest in working in international development cooperation and in a political context
  • capability to work independently and self-organized
  • at least a bachelor degree or an equivalent of significant work experience
  • relevant work experience or internships are a plus
  • experience and networks in public accounting or public-funded projects is a plus
  • interpersonal communication skills
  • attention to detail, pro-active engagement of tasks and motivation to learn how to work in our setting is required
